You have to have goals and ambitions because you're designed like that.

You have to be working towards a goal. But the only reason there's a goal is so that you get to have a journey. It's not so much the accomplishment of the goal because once you accomplish that goal, you cross it off your to do list and you get another one. Right. So the goal is there for there to be a journey.

So you need to have a journey and which is a derivative or a function of the goal. However, you have to be able to differentiate between an ambition that's born out of lack to an ambition that's born out of, out of abundance .

If you've got 250 mils of content, , it's what you have in your life. You have the ability, to make. The cup smaller, you have the ability to crumble these down. I'll say it again. You have the ability to crumble down these bits of context, which are wants and desires.

So that your wants equal your haves. Your wants equal your have. When you have this,
then this is experienced as peace.. Another word for peace is contentment. You get to experience this as peace.

I say that life is a journey where you have a vehicle. The vehicle and the smoothness of the ride is up to you. , the road may be bumpy at times and smooth at other times, but what makes your ride smooth in your vehicle are the shock absorbers. That's what makes a ride smooth are the shock absorbers.

So what would be the human shock absorbers for this journey of life? And that that human shock absorber is the ability to forgive yourself in the most creative way that you can.

That's it. Because if you think about it, if we're designed to be self critical, which we are, we criticize ourselves creatively. Fractally, we criticize about this, about how it happened, about who it happened with, about what I was wearing when it happened, about what I was thinking when it happened, about what I should have done when it happened, about what I should have done after it happened.

Yeah, there's all of these like creative ways of being self critical. The only way that you can counter that is by being as creative in your self compassion.

That's it. It's the only skill that you really need to get good at as an adult is forgiving yourself.

There's a whole mental process that gets in the way of this and that, whatever. But essentially this is not, I mean, it's, it's, it's simple, maybe not easy, but it's really simple. What you should have in terms of a vision in your mind. Is you the adult in the mirror and your wounded child walking hand in hand into the sun into the sunset.

That's the ideal. So whatever's going on for you, whatever's going on for you, you need to do whatever you need to do in that relationship so that the child is like holding your hand and saying, I love you. And I feel safe with you. And it's your job to say, I love you, regardless of how much proof that you bring, why you don't deserve my love.

Can you see the visual? Can you see this like togetherness, love this. That's the primary relationship. That's how you are both the object and the subject of your verb. I love myself. I hate myself. I'm disappointed with myself. I'm proud of myself. The only way that you can be the object and the subject of your own verb is if there are two of you.

And what you need to remember is that the one that's doing the verb, the subject is your egoic mind. It's your identity. It's who you think you are. It's the voice in your mind.

But everything else is just like this relationship with the self. That's all there is. That really is all there is. That is the relationship that comes before anything. Before your relationship with God.

You know? You can't, like, I mean, You can't You can't You can't have that energy come in unless the vessel, the container, is strong. Your container is strong when the adult in the mirror and the child inside love each other no matter what.
