‘One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.’ – Carl G Jung
What did Jung mean by this?
He was talking about the tendencies of all manifested life to gravitate towards light.
Look how it happens with photosynthesis. Plants grow towards the sun.
Moths gravitate towards light.
It happens with human beings too.
If the conscious mind where the self image is (‘imagining figures of light’), was the light, and the unconscious mind where the shadow is, was the darkness, humans gravitate towards the light and not the darkness.
But here’s the catch,
the life that you dream of,
the life free of your patterns,
and the life that’s free of your blockages,
is the life that is on the other side of your shadows.
This is Shadow Guidance.
